He moved to Marietta, Georgia and graduated from Life University School of Chiropractic in 1997. Mustafa practised in Lima, Peru and Florida until 2004 and nearly 30 years later, moved to Turkey, practised there for 18 years, and now works as an academician at the AECC. He has 27 years of clinical experience. He has been an advocate for the chiropractic profession through his involvement with the Turkish Chiropractic Association (TCA), European Chiropractic Union (ECU), World Federation of Chiropractic (WFC), International Chiropractic Sports Federation (FICS) and East Mediterranean and Middle East Chiropractic Federation (EMMECF).
Mustafa served on the Federation of International Chiropractic Sports (FICS) executive council from 2008 to 2021. He was the FICS president from 2019-2021. Mustafa likes to work with athletes and is part of the education commission of the Turkish Swim Federation springboard and platform diving branch. He serves on the World Federation of Chiropractic public health committee with much interest in protecting and educating the public in spinal and musculoskeletal health. Mustafa enjoys swimming, running, biking and the great outdoors.
